Parks and Attractions in New York City

New York City is home to some of the most famous attractions on Earth. Take the Empire State Building, for example. If you visit New York, for example on a Kreuzfahrt USA, you simply have to see the Empire State Building, which is visible from most of the city. The Empire State Building Observatory, located at 350 Fifth Avenue, offers the best overviews of the city, and the building itself is a classic. The Statue of Liberty, located in New York Harbor, is another must see New York attraction; you can reach it by taking a ferry or tour boat out to Liberty Island. Another building on the list is Rockefeller Center, located at 45 Rockefeller Plaza. In the wintertime, enjoy the ice skating rink and the enormous Christmas tree during the holidays. You can tour NBC studios, too. Don't miss Grand Central Terminal, either, located at 87 East 42nd Street, this mammoth terminal is the hub of New York City transportation, and the building is beautiful. If you're a fan of history, you have to visit Ellis Island, located in New York Harbor, to visit the immigration center that opened up New York City to so many immigrants in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. You can work on family histories at the American Family History Immigration Center on Ellis Island, too. New York is home to plenty of beautiful parks and open spaces, too. Enjoy the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, located at 1000 Washington Avenue, or the Central Park Zoo, located at 830 Fifth Avenue inside legendary Central Park. On your way to enjoy the shore at Coney Island, stop by the New York Aquarium, located at 602 Surf Avenue, where the entire family will enjoy exhibits on everything from penguins to beluga whales.
