Museums and the Arts in New York City

New York is home to many well known and respected museums the whole family can enjoy. One of the top museums on visitors' lists in the Solomon R. If you love modern art, don't miss the New York Museum of Modern Art, located at 11 West 53rd Street in Manhattan. This museum is strictly related to modern art, with indoor and outdoor exhibitions, and an extensive photography collection. If you're not into art, visit the American Museum of Natural History, located in beautiful Central Park West (at West 79th Street), Browsergames for a view of the people and animals of the United States throughout history. It's one of the favorite museums in New York for visitors and locals, too. Learn about other cultures at the Center for Jewish History, located at 15 West 16th Street, where families can research their genealogy and family history, too. If you're interested in history and literature, visit the Edgar Allan Poe Cottage, located at 2460 Grand Concourse in the Bronx, where Poe lived and wrote while staying in New York. There are a whole host of other museums to choose from, too.
